Lake Powell Baby!

For my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary

They decided to take the family to lake Powell! (we even brought Rusty)

We all drove to Kanab and stayed with Barb and Dave for a couple days and then off to the lake! 

We got to ride the rhino a few times!

I got burned on my arms..but they got dirt all over their faces ha

we set off fireworks down were it was legal

My mom fell and the chair and couch pinched her leg in the inside of her knee. Mama Crippled ;)

Where the Mormon pioneers came through. Took them 6 months to get down that. They built a road so their wagons and horses could get down. It's a lot steeper then it looks.

On the way from hole in the rock we were going to go to rainbow bridge. We were on empty but we said a prayer and we made it to the bridge and back to the marina to get gas. Impressive..Thank you Heavenly Father for lookin out for us.

It was an awesome experience.

The last week in July was pretty sweet!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for a trip no one will ever forget!

 

Little Chomper and my dad were so funny.

My dad tried the whole trip to convince Alyssa that her and my dad are in the same class at school with Mrs. Penalton. That he sat right next to her and colored paper mache'd had a christmas party together. She thought he was crazy but it was soo funny to listen to him and her.

The summer is over and it's been a blast, busy, and learning a lot about myself!

I got my engagement pictures done by Georgie (Ashley's mom) and Jackie (a friend of hers). They look awesome! I love them! Here are some of them-

It was a lot of fun taking them and they turned out great!

Rusty didn't complain once! (so proud of him cuz he knows i love pictures)

We stayed in Ramah that night since we took pictures for about 3 hours.

 And I spent the rest of the 4 of July weekend in Rio Rancho with Rusty's family! Then headed home and went back to work till the next adventure!

Wednesday: 

 I got my wisdom teeth taken out.

I had just three!

I remember the IV (which was no big deal)

I remember trying to wake up and seeing the nurse

having her walk me around,

 my mom coming in,

feeling huge,

the ride home.

 and falling asleep.

Day 2 (Thursday)

I was a chipmunk

Look...Identical -

Day 3 (Friday)

WE don't talk about this day.

My cheeks were even bigger and I felt dizzy and needed a blessing.

My dad and Shane Griffin (hometeacher) gave me a blessing.

Worse day EvEr!

I didn't move or talk all day.

Day 4 (Saturday)

Felt better but didn't work when I was supposed to.

Caitlin Flake came over too because she made me homemade cupcakes!

Woke up at like 3 in the morning crying because my left side,

where two were removed,

hurt so bad!

Since the surgery that's been my schedule wake up around 3 and 6

to have to take medicine.

Day 5 (Today)

Still look like a chipmunk!

And it hurts to laugh.

Everything tastes funny.

My teeth feel gross.

And you can just smell the blood clots in your holes.

I hope this ends soon..

These cheeks better go away!

My mom has been a great help and even my dad has helped

(made me mac and cheese and stayed home from church with me).

 My mom has made anything I have felt up to and changed my ice packs every twenty minutes.

Thanks mom for all your help and letting me wake you up at three in the morning.

Now cheeks go away!

Kortnee loves them and thinks everyone should have big cheeks!

I think she is making fun of me because she doesn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes after she says that.

At first we planned Aug. 19th but Rusty ( After I had suggested we waited for Ethan to come home and he got all upset) finally stopped fighting it and decided to wait.  ( He didn't want to do this long distance anymore but really felt like he should wait for his best friend).

So me trying to move the wrapping out of the way of the slicer..

Next thing you know i feel a poke and i said Ouch

and then the blood.

I had sliced my right thumb through my nail.

It bled for awhile and then stopped.

We filed a report and then got sent to the urgent care.

No stitches but it hurts.

Now i barely can do anything

 cuz the nerve endings and my nail bed are really sore!

Oh how you've got to love work!

What I think of work?!

Just keep thinkin to my self

I'm getting paid for this..

and trying not to think about meat because it makes me wanna throw up.

Word of Advise

don't work with food or especially with food you like because you'll end up hating it.
