Beauty and Hair

I don't think I've done someone else's since Beauty School...
But Kendra needed help with her hair for Mormon prom.
I had to work from 10 to 3 and than to a bridal shower of Ms. Romero (my favorite math teacher ever!)
then straight to the Crotts'.
This is what she was thinking that she wanted

So an hour later this how her hair turned out and right on time as her date showed up!

She seemed to really like it!

I have also decided to give what I went to school for 1600 hours a chance.
I start my new job on monday!
A little scary but it seems like it's all lined up to be what I am supposed to do right now.
I had an interview set up a couple weeks ago for Super Cuts and the day before Rusty and I went to the pool. There was this couple that were older than us. (she is 47 and he is 60).
We've meet them before and we always get to talking.
We found out that she is a manger of a hair cutting store (Cost Cutters) and she loves her job.
Rusty told her I had an interview and that I have my license.
Long Story Short she was going to be firing someone at the end of the month and I should keep in touch with her and that I would fit in with her girls. (and she didn't think I would like working for super cuts)
I was really stressing about the interview the next day it didn't sit right with me so I decided to take Kelly up on what she offered and I didn't do the interview with Super Cuts.
She seemed like a really cool boss (about sundays and scheduling).
She called me up yesterday without even an interview and I start monday!
I'm really excited a bit nervous and I hope I end up liking it.
I'm gunna try working both jobs and then quit one of them..
Wish me luck!

April..in my family that means Birthdays!

My Dad turned 50!
Momma Edwards...Dad...Mine...John...Rusty...Shauna...

I turned 20!

My dad got new clothes and of course some QT gift cards!

For my birthday I got some necklaces, a gift card, to Ulta, and some money.

We went up to phoenix for Rusty's 20th Birthday.

They played some video games. Boys and video games..I may never understand it... :)

Got to see the family!
Lil' Sky was so tired that she was so cuddly!
It was soo cute!

Some kisses and hugs too!

Specially from these two who decided to get married!

And some playful times!

Lets not forget we got to go Rock Climbing!
It was Rusty, Eli, Ethan, Cherish, and I.
We had lots of fun.
Rusty did really well there was a cave that you could climb without a rope and Rusty was the only one that could go to the top.

I went it was my first time and I got half way up the wall and freaked..just a little enough that my hands started sweating and I wanted to go down but everyone told me to keep going and I did..Maybe I am a little bit afraid of heights.. but it's something I can say I have done now!

And also what is even more awesome is that my college roommate got married!!! I think he is just awesome for her and so impressed. Seeing her family was so much fun and being able to see Lexi soo happy was icing on the cake! Her reception was super cute! I wish them the best of luck and I am just so excited for them to be married!

The E.R. (keeping up the nickname Crippled)

I am not even twenty yet and look at all the things that Rusty and I have been through...

Maybe one day I will be in the ER for other reason's (work) not for myself.
Where to begin.
It was Wednesday.
That morning my stomach didn't feel really well.
It didn't hurt just felt uncomfortable.
I ate cereal and went to work from 11 to 3.
During work I got soo hungry and I ate and then it felt like I ate too much.
I went home and relaxed with Rusty.
We went to the pool and then got in the shower.
This was around seven that in an instant my stomach (abdomen) was in a lot of pain.
I tried to go the bathroom and it hurt.
My muscles in my abdomen just hurt.
The right side hurt.
It got to the point that I could not move my right leg to walk.
Rusty had to carry me to the bed to the bathroom to the bed again.
I thought it would go away and it didn't.
I called my dad to give me a blessing.
They left and I just didn't want to move.
I couldn't lay on my right or left side.
It's hard for me to sleep on my back but that was the only position that was slightly comfortable.
I fell asleep that had to be for 5 minutes and then I woke up just still in so much pain.
Rusty had fallen asleep for a little bit but woke up and said "Let's take you to the ER."
He called my mom to have her meet us there.
He got dressed and got me a jacket and picked me up and put me in the car.
Every speed bump hurt.
We got there he carried me inside and that started the 14 hours in the E.R.
I did the paper work and the boy rolled me into a room and he said "How do you wanna do this?"
I looked at the bed and said "You are gunna have to pick me up"
There was no way I was going get to the bed by myself.
He laughed and picked me up.
Rusty and my mom got to my room.
They wanted me to pee in a cup and Rusty had to carry me.
Painful.
They rolled out being pregnant so I could have a CT scan.
They took lots of blood.
Which ended up showing I was loosing blood.
They put me on pain medication and not a minute later I said "I am not feeling good."
My whole body went hot and I didn't want to open my eyes.
Rusty and my mom noticed that my color went from my whole body in seconds.
For ten minutes I didn't open my eyes my head was just spinning.
The second medicine didn't do anything but I felt sick again when they just put saline in me.
The medicines didn't make the pain go away and I knew something else had to be wrong.
We did a CT scan and they found a 7 cm cyst but couldn't see my appendix so they did an ultrasound.
The ultrasound showed I had a 4 cm cyst that was hemorrhaging and my appendix was okay.
So we waited for the OB to come.
He really thought we should do surgery.
We decided to because I was tired of being in pain and it would be a faster recovery than letting my body heal on it's on.
Apparently Women's bodies have cyst when they ovulate and then your body absorbs it but this time it got out of control.
But I would have to wait till it stopped bleeding and that would take hours and if it had been four hours and they would draw more blood and if it showed I was still bleeding they would have to do surgery.
So we just ended up choosing surgery (which happened at 11:30 thursday morning).
My Dad and Brother Wally came to give me a blessing.
(This is where Rusty had a hard time that he wasn't able to give me a blessing but in May that will change.)
They went in through my belly button and two other tiny incisions.
So I have been recovering.
Speed bumps, laughing, and if anything touches it still hurts.
But every day gets better.
I will start back at work on Friday.

What I am grateful for is that I have a husband that would stay awake and hold my hand for 14 hours in the E.R.
That my mom was there the whole time and helped take care of me after. That I could have my dad give me blessings and the power of the priesthood. That I know now hopefully for sure what's been wrong with me since I was 14 but my bodies been absorbing it.
So on to birth control it is and hopefully never having it happen again.

Aw the ZOO!

Oh our trips to New Mexico..
We never really do anything. They always consist to medical reasonings.
Never really seen anything..well except for movies.
We always do the same things..movies, tv, red-box, mall, getting test done, or eating out.
C'mon let's do something different please!!!
So I beg and pleaded and He took me to the Zoo!
For a little bit Rusty worked on cars..mine, his, dad's, and Josh's (Serene's man to be cont.)
I liked this picture...Father and Son fixing a car...classic

These are The Edwards' dogs. Rusty loves animals especially dogs.

Gunner  and  Annie

They like to lick everything and I mean everything.

We went to breakfast with the Wallace's which was great.
Caden and Skylar are growing up so fast.
They are turning into little kids and not babies.
But Caden still loves me.
I'm still his girl.
Rusty told him he's have to move on and he looked at Rusty pointed at him and said "No! You move on!" and then wanted Rusty's ring. :)
Zoo Time!
These pictures are some of our favorites!

Rusty touched the porcupine!
It was raised by a keeper with their dogs and cats.

I didn't think Pumba (wort hog) in real life was so ugly...

This monkey literally posed for the camera.

When you start being around someone a lot you start thinking alike. We just happened to match...:)

I love Rusty's faces..this is his ferocious tiger face :)
The NM Zoo is way better than the Tucson one. It took us two hours to go through all of it. Tucson's is about 5 minutes.
I am glad we finally did something new!
His parents are flipping a house.
We Helped paint it and it's not done yet but looks like a new house already.

WHo does this?!
Sea Foam green on wood? Orange walls? Navy Blue Ceiling?
These do not go together what so ever!

Anyways...
It was a lot of fun to go to the Zoo and just be able to spend time with my hubby!
He got a new job! Discount Tires!
No more working on Sundays! YAY!
I got my temple recommend and Rusty gets the priesthood (becomes an elder) in May!
We know because we are doing what's right that we are being blessed.
Life is a lot easier when you are doing what's right that's all I gotta say.
