The E.R. (keeping up the nickname Crippled)

I am not even twenty yet and look at all the things that Rusty and I have been through...

Maybe one day I will be in the ER for other reason's (work) not for myself.
Where to begin.
It was Wednesday.
That morning my stomach didn't feel really well.
It didn't hurt just felt uncomfortable.
I ate cereal and went to work from 11 to 3.
During work I got soo hungry and I ate and then it felt like I ate too much.
I went home and relaxed with Rusty.
We went to the pool and then got in the shower.
This was around seven that in an instant my stomach (abdomen) was in a lot of pain.
I tried to go the bathroom and it hurt.
My muscles in my abdomen just hurt.
The right side hurt.
It got to the point that I could not move my right leg to walk.
Rusty had to carry me to the bed to the bathroom to the bed again.
I thought it would go away and it didn't.
I called my dad to give me a blessing.
They left and I just didn't want to move.
I couldn't lay on my right or left side.
It's hard for me to sleep on my back but that was the only position that was slightly comfortable.
I fell asleep that had to be for 5 minutes and then I woke up just still in so much pain.
Rusty had fallen asleep for a little bit but woke up and said "Let's take you to the ER."
He called my mom to have her meet us there.
He got dressed and got me a jacket and picked me up and put me in the car.
Every speed bump hurt.
We got there he carried me inside and that started the 14 hours in the E.R.
I did the paper work and the boy rolled me into a room and he said "How do you wanna do this?"
I looked at the bed and said "You are gunna have to pick me up"
There was no way I was going get to the bed by myself.
He laughed and picked me up.
Rusty and my mom got to my room.
They wanted me to pee in a cup and Rusty had to carry me.
Painful.
They rolled out being pregnant so I could have a CT scan.
They took lots of blood.
Which ended up showing I was loosing blood.
They put me on pain medication and not a minute later I said "I am not feeling good."
My whole body went hot and I didn't want to open my eyes.
Rusty and my mom noticed that my color went from my whole body in seconds.
For ten minutes I didn't open my eyes my head was just spinning.
The second medicine didn't do anything but I felt sick again when they just put saline in me.
The medicines didn't make the pain go away and I knew something else had to be wrong.
We did a CT scan and they found a 7 cm cyst but couldn't see my appendix so they did an ultrasound.
The ultrasound showed I had a 4 cm cyst that was hemorrhaging and my appendix was okay.
So we waited for the OB to come.
He really thought we should do surgery.
We decided to because I was tired of being in pain and it would be a faster recovery than letting my body heal on it's on.
Apparently Women's bodies have cyst when they ovulate and then your body absorbs it but this time it got out of control.
But I would have to wait till it stopped bleeding and that would take hours and if it had been four hours and they would draw more blood and if it showed I was still bleeding they would have to do surgery.
So we just ended up choosing surgery (which happened at 11:30 thursday morning).
My Dad and Brother Wally came to give me a blessing.
(This is where Rusty had a hard time that he wasn't able to give me a blessing but in May that will change.)
They went in through my belly button and two other tiny incisions.
So I have been recovering.
Speed bumps, laughing, and if anything touches it still hurts.
But every day gets better.
I will start back at work on Friday.

What I am grateful for is that I have a husband that would stay awake and hold my hand for 14 hours in the E.R.
That my mom was there the whole time and helped take care of me after. That I could have my dad give me blessings and the power of the priesthood. That I know now hopefully for sure what's been wrong with me since I was 14 but my bodies been absorbing it.
So on to birth control it is and hopefully never having it happen again.
