This summer is almost over..sad day.
We haven't gotten to do a normal summer that most people get because this is when Rusty is super busy with work. Although it hasn't been as crazy as i thought somedays have been long. I feel for you single moms but sometimes i feel its harder to not be able to make a plan since I have no idea when he's going to be home. Which also adds to stress with my photography business and have an "on-call" baby sitter because maybe I'll need one maybe I won't and being in limbo drives me crazy!!
Rylee and I did get to go to Utah and then I got home and was like "ah now what do i do?"
We did do some swimming
I made an effort to have Rylee eat more in her high chair because I'm fed up with how how carpet gets! Plus it helps her actually eat something. She's started to get pretty independent and wants to do things on her own so she's willing to try more things when she can feed herself! And also means more baths!

I also decided to take away the pacifier during the day. I knew the paci was more for me then her (it was my way of keeping her crying to a minimum or distract her from throwing a fit) but because we went for her "18 month" check up and her doctor is still so concerned that she isn't talking more and I kept getting this feeling that maybe it was her paci thats when i decided to give it a try and immediately saw a difference in how expressive she was. So she still gets them to go to bed but the car and during the day she doesn't get them and she has done way better then i thought she would!

We did spend 4th of July with Aubrey and Josh!
Rusty has done as much fishing as he can!
We even went with him once but it is just too dang hot to be fishing in the summer and during the day!
Rylee had her last hip appt. Her legs have improved on both sides and things look really well. He said we could go in a year to just make sure but he's really confident that she'll be fine. Also during the last 18month apt she finished her shots till she is 4. She was 34.5 inches tall and 29pounds 5.7oz! Her doc wanted to put her in speech therapy again because she couldn't believe she didn't qualify last time but since taking away the paci i don't feel the need to try to get her in again. She already is so close to saying more "mo" cheese "cheez" and even woof woof.
As a family we did get to go camping as well! We went up to Christopher Creek up by Payson Az.
It was good to get in nice weather and to spend sometime away from media and be in some good air! I did miss the shower though once it got a couple days! We spent Thursday till Sunday morning there.
Rylee wouldn't really take naps so we drove her the first day and 2nd she slept with me holding her and at night around 4 she ended up in bed with us until the last night she slept the whole night by herself until a bird woke us up at 6 in the morning!
We went to a fish hatchery!
Rylee got soaked in mud so we had to take off her pants!
The girls may have loved the soda they got until Miss Leah got stung by a bee. Everyone now knows how much I ate bees and every time we ate the came swarming!
Oreo lipstick anyone?!
We got see some pretty awesome elk as well! I was pretty excited to get some cool shots of them!
We spent sometime at the splash pad with Brinley!
Gotta spend time with Grandma and Grandpa!

Gotta see Barb and Dave for the second time!
And even got to meet Nancy and Dave for the first time!..
Did some road trippin with Brinley to Tucson a few times!

She even fell asleep once in the car without the paci!
She defiantly has some curls going on!
Aunt Kortnee came and saw the babies a few times!
Played with Leah!
Her new favorite thing is to pretend to sleep! It makes me laugh!
Oh and this is daily occurrence to walk around in one of my high heels and carry her easter basket around like a purse!
I think the next adventure will be to California and hopefully something else when Rusty slows down for work.... till then!
