Cancer Scare..Miracles..and One happy baby!

Oh Cancer Check ups...
Rusty hadn't had a cancer check up since July
 but since his insurance was ending we decided he needed to get at least one more in before who knows how long it will be to have another one. We drove to NM and this was also Rylee's first long trip. She actually slept the whole way. We did the routine blood work Wednesday Thursday CT scan and Fri meet with the Dr.. While meeting with the doc to find out the results everything looked good his numbers and levels and the CT scan came back good. Rusty told him he had been having these sharp chest pain and it would come and go and it'd really hurt. Didn't matter what he was doing it would happen. We thought that maybe it would be stress but Dr. Bernard thought that was strange and stress normally happens in the back. So he pushed on him and didn't hurt by touch but he thought it was still strange so he had Rusty go get a chest X-ray. He said he'd call with the results. After Saturday not hearing anything we thought it was weird but thought maybe nothing showed up so he wasn't going to call. So we finished out our stay.

Serene had a check up for her pregnancy and to get some Zofran cuz she was so nauseous. We got a call from her to come get Baylee. She had lost the baby. Well after test and an ultrasound come to find out she had a molar pregnancy (cluster of tumors growing like a baby inside her uterus and if she didn't get it removed immediately it would be a size of a baby in a few weeks and if it ruptured she could bleed out)

So we watched Baylee who has grown up so much and now walking and learning a few words and miss independent oh and don't forget so shy it took a lot of effort to get her used to us and want to be around. Bay did Like Rylee a lot and wanted to hold her and kiss her!

Rylee learned to stick out her tongue! haha but she has given that up pretty quickly.
(It scared me a little bit because she wouldn't give us her cute smile and instead stuck out her tongue but she still smiles now!)

But Serene is having more test done as I write this to see if she will have to do chemo. Rusty gave her a blessing and really believes she will have more kids but right now she can't get pregnant for another year. I feel so bad I know how badly she wants a sibling for Miss Bay and to have the fear that those tumors could be cancerous is even worse! We are are all praying for her. So watching bay and stuff we kind of just hung out and we drove home Sunday.
Well Monday we get a call from Debbie saying the doc called and something is on the chest X-ray. Dr Bernard said that there is a dark spot and he wants a CT Scan of his chest right away. So back to NM we go..We felt like the last two weeks were on repeat. Poor Miss Rylee she has had her schedule all screwed up specially cuz NM right now is an hr ahead. But she has done pretty well considering. Going into the doctors office to get results made me feel sick. Rusty wouldn't even talk you could see on his face how nervous he was. This time the small room was crammed Josh, Serene, Baylee, Rusty, Me, Rylee, Debbie, and Ron were all in the room and immediately when the Doc came in the room he said Oh Wow So I can see you guys are worried but there is nothing there in the CT scan.

 Now a few days earlier Rusty received a blessing from Josh Edwards and in that blessing he said that Rusty will be healed and whatever is there will be gone and it was. I haven't seen Rusty cry in a long time (He says chemo took all his tears away) but after walking out of the Dr.'s office and going over the Ct scan that it wasn't a muscle..it wasn't his heart or collapsed lung..it wasn't cancer..Rusty just started to cry which then in return we all did. We have a received a miracle and we are so grateful. I guess Rusty has so put up with me just a little longer!

 4-5 months...

I know my blog has been all about my little girl since she was born but I gotta say she is my world and I don't want to forget these moments with her and I want her to be able to read this when she is older and know what it was like while she was growing up for me even in these small moments that she's learning to discover herself and learn to laugh and smile and growing up. I looked at her the other day going oh my gosh she is getting so big she's wearing 9-12month clothing and she is getting so long! What happened to my little new born and it makes me sad even though its so fun to get her to smile and laugh and see things that are so interesting to her. Rusty sometimes says things like why don't you just lay her down and not hold her while she's sleeping or that he can't wait till she is walking. But I can..My answer was I'm cherishing holding her while I can cuz one day she will want nothing to do with me. Some days I need my breaks just to get something done like a shower or to get out the house but I love being with her. Rusty has already talked about giving her a sibling and I'm like "ah NO" I will one day be ready for the next bundle of joy but I am so content with her. I wanna get "me" back first. She is seriously an easy baby and I'm afraid the next one will be a little hellion. I'm finally getting out of my rut and I want to get out and do things.
I'm starting to watch 2 little girls Named Macie and Cambri. They are ages 5 and 7. Ones in school most of the day. Some funny moments with that the 5 year old Cambri said "I have a secret about your husband" and so I begged her to tell me and she said " He's really cute I want to kiss him!" They love Rylee and thinks she is so cute. I've had to explain breastfeeding which was kinda awkward Cambri was like "you feed her through your shirt..Can I see?!" So I had to explain it and the truth. ha But believe me they are not the easiest kids but for right now it's only 1 day a week so I can do that and bring in a little extra money.

Man this dog just loves Rylee and will try constantly to lay next to her. The first time Rylee grabbed his beard!

 Rylee has started to reach for things that interest her. She loves water bottles! She also wants to grab your face. We have slowly let her eat things but not a lot she sometimes just spits it back out. Honestly it scares me to start feeding her but maybe cuz its different and I don't do well with change.

She can almost sit all by herself. Everyone is honestly impressed with how soft and quiet she is. Aubrey and Josh watched her for my birthday that Rusty took me out to Cheesecake Factory and laughed that she never got "pissed" she would grunt like she's mad or if she did cry it was this soft little whine. Her cry is so quiet you really have to listen for her or go check on her. But she is so smiley and such a happy baby. But I really think Heavenly Father gave me her cuz those few nights that she does fight it I cry cuz I can't get her to sleep and I think he knows that if she was any other way I'm not sure I could handle it.

Rylee had her first Easter..this holiday thing will get better once she can actually enjoy it but can I say she has loved the pool!

Cherish graduated from Nursing school!
It's been a long year and a half for her..she has defiantly set aside her social life for this and I hope it pays off and gets her dream job! She has spent countless hrs studying and I know she will be a great nurse and so we had a party and swam because that seemed easiest with all the kiddos!

Ethan was scared that she would bite him so I informed him that she has no teeth and would probably just get a hickey! He then was totally fine with it. :)



It's already hot Here in AZ and man we have spent some days by the pool and can I just tell you I can hold her a lot longer while in the pool!Another first is she started sticking out her tongue and doing what some people call raspberries that gets little spits all over you. I feel like her hair is starting to grow a little bit. Have I told you about her laugh!! It's to die for! She gets this belly laugh that will last for like 15 mins and just laugh over and over again and then it gets this little high pitched and its so dang cute! The most random things make her laugh it's not consistent yet but it makes your day when you hear it. Cherish has been the one to get her to laugh the most. I feel like I'm already starting to be low on the totem poll with her cuz man you can tell she loves her daddy and Aunt Cherish. She loves her other aunts and grandmas but she get glued onto Rusty and Cherish when they are around. Maybe because they are loud haha..

Meeting Sawyer for the first time

Oh have I mentioned she started to roll! Finally I was talking to Ashley and saying well least she can almost sit up instead of rolling like the rest of her cousins and right as I was saying it she did it! She looked scared and Aunt "flash" ran over and said good job and let her know it was okay and after that she has done it several times! These are some of her 5month pics..she is going to be 6months here in a couple weeks and we are getting family pictures done and I'm so excited!
